What is HubSpot Operations Hub?
This hub was launched in 2021 as an addition to HubSpot's existing hubs. It is the hub that connects apps with each other, automates business processes, and synchronises and cleans customer data. This creates one way of working within your organisation and reduces data related tasks. The focus then shifts to what matters. Fully in line with what HubSpot CEO Brian Halligan said during an Inbound event:
“Starting a business has never been easier. But scaling a business is harder than ever.”
When do you use HubSpot Operations Hub?
Ideally, you use HubSpot Operations Hub to prevent the situations below, but many organisations only look for a solution afterwards. Below we describe 5 common situations for which Operations Hub is perfectly suited.
1. Your business is growing
As your business grows, systems and processes need to grow with it. When systems do not cooperate, friction builds up on the road to success. Data no longer lines up everywhere, which makes it harder for teams to work together. Data increasingly gets stuck in silos.
2. Data fires
Data pollution happens quickly and occurs in every business. The biggest cause is human error. When several people work within one system, small mistakes creep in naturally. Think of capitalisation, inconsistent terminology, date properties and phone numbers.
3. Inefficiency
Working in silos occurs in many organisations and can lead to increasingly complex processes. As a solution, one person per team is often appointed as operationally responsible. From within silos, an attempt is then made to untangle systems and complex processes, but in many cases this turns out to be an impossible task.
4. Declining customer satisfaction
When processes become more complex and errors occur, consumers and customers will notice more often and experience the inconvenience. If you already measure customer satisfaction, you will see this reflected in the reviews you collect. If you do not yet track this structurally, it is worth monitoring reviews on, for example, Google and Facebook.
5. Rise in lost deals
As the complexity of systems and processes keeps increasing, this can lead to cancellations, opt outs and lost deals. A lead may, for example, not be followed up on time or be followed up incorrectly, causing more drop off moments. That is a waste of years of investment in your product or service.
