HubSpot & Peple: How do you develop a new website during a HubSpot migration?

Peple offers the online software solution for your HR and payroll process in the form of Visma.net HRM & Payroll. They make sure administration is no longer a hassle, so more time can be invested in the people within the organisation. That is also exactly the reason HubSpot is a good addition for Peple. Through the migration from Salesforce to HubSpot and a completely new website, a foundation has been laid so that Peple can put even more time into its people.

Data, data, and more data

Peple is part of Visma and is a new label that came to life in 2024. The initial focus was a completely new website within the HubSpot CMS, but the next challenge soon followed. The data was held in Salesforce and therefore had to be migrated to HubSpot. For this we created a data mapping, so that we could import the data into HubSpot in the correct way. With a data mapping, we first make sure we have a complete overview of the fields and data held in Salesforce. By gaining insight into this, we not only get a grip on the data, but can also look at the most ideal set-up within HubSpot. This allows people to carry out the right actions, with the right data, at the right moments.

Once the data mapping is done, the import can run. There are many ways to import data into HubSpot. HubSpot has a good API to get real-time data into HubSpot, which is of course the most ideal solution. It is also possible to do manual imports using a CSV or Excel file. This is often limited to one-off imports, as we naturally prefer to opt for efficiency.

During an onboarding we make sure your portal is set up optimally, so you can get started with it afterwards. It is important that a CRM package does not work against you, but is a real added value. That is why we make sure we put the most ideal set-up on paper in advance, before we get started.

Once the portal is set up, your employees naturally need to start working with it in the right way. Through training we make sure everyone works in HubSpot in the same way and becomes familiar with it. All employees can also still ask questions, so that everyone shares the same goal.

A new start with marketing strategies and HubSpot

Foundation laid to keep growing

We completed the onboarding, together with the project group within Peple, within 3 months. In this we set up the portal fully to their wishes, and also retrieved all emails, notes and attachments from Salesforce and imported them into HubSpot. This means they can continue with all relevant data right where they left off, so they do not miss any history. After the onboarding we provided training for the staff who need to work in HubSpot. In doing so, we were able to bring everyone along in the change, and everyone became enthusiastic about getting started with it. Of course there are always points to pick up further and to build a more holistic approach within HubSpot. In the coming period, several projects are still planned to get an even better grip on customers in all phases of the flywheel model.
